Its all about ratios

Very appreciative of the position of this site being so close to the very pleasant village of Moreton in Marsh. On arrival was told that only one of the two amenities blocks was open as the site was not very busy. Unfortunately the block that was open was at the eastern side of the site which is thick with trees, all shedding leaves.Of course most of us want to be relatively close the the amenities. The other block is in a much more open area so better at this time of year. It was heated but closed, even the laundry room and the dishwashing area. Come Friday and a lot of arrivals. With little pitch choice near the open block, vans are having to pitch a few hundred metres from the block. I mentioned to the warden that this was unfair to members and he said it was all to do with ratios..ie the number of customers v the number of toilet cubicles etc, and that his staff would have to clean both blocks should they be open. Pleased to say that with a bit of nagging he agreed to open the second block, which would have been a relief for many ( ah ah). Point is this sort of thing should not be happening. The only other point I want to make is that a lot of the hard standing pitches need to be refurbished. Of the previous 10 reviews I note that 8 reviewers have been critical of the state of these, so please take notice Club.
