Expensive and Not Very Clean AVOID FISH AND CHIPS

This sounds disappointing to hear.  We were thinking of giving this site a go, but perhaps not!

I’d check out all the reviews before deciding. 

Don't let one review put you off Pam - just don't go on a Bank Holiday! Nothing wrong with the site itself at quiet times - some pitches are a bit narrow but no real problem. Facilities are absolutely fine at normal times. You can walk into the village easily from the site or along the Monarch's Way to Batsford Arboretum. If you want fish & chips use the very good shop in the village! 

We have just arrived home from after a bank holiday at a site in the New Forest,and although the staff {with add help} were doing their best to keep on top of the disgusting habits of the "Bank Holiday Crowd" more the unsupervised children, who seem to be allowed by the adults to be "free roaming"it was so much more civilised on site yesterday and this morning,
