Camping in wet and cold January and needing a quiet site within easy reach of Gloucester yet close enough to child centered activities. This site was perfect. The wardens were all welcoming and very accommodating at all times, they made our stay. The showers and washing facilities were spotless and WARM! Showering with a two year old who hates showers was easy because there is room in the cubicle for clothes, a curtain to keep them dry and space to move in the shower. The grounds offered a variety of settings, either close to  facilities hard standing or secluded outer corners. The only down side to the outer pitches was road noise but it quietened down till morning. The  site is well kept and flat making for easy access. The Saturday night chip van was an unexpected bonus! And they were really good fish  and chips cooked while you waited! Tea rooms in the town allowed dogs in which was great!
