Dull few days at Moreton

Whilst we have loved this site in the past we have slightly fallen out of love with it this time.   The town is lovely and the location of the site is an easy walk into the town.   The trees on this site spoilt our short holiday.   We were under an oak tree and on the two hour spell when we had sun on our pitch we were bombarded with acorns, the rest of the time it was very dark and our awning and caravan are now covered in bird deposits, also pitches are very, very tight.   Having said that we had a lovely day out in Stratford, caught the 9.30am bus outside the site entrance (using bus pass!!)   Came back on the 3.05pm bus.   There isn't a 4pm bus, the next one is 5.05pm and I imagine you cannot use your pass to return as it may be peak time.   Walked down the river to the "Dirty Duck", couldnt believe we had a pint of beer, half a lager and lime and two haddock bakes for less than £17.  To sum things up we feel we don't want to return until some daylight is let into the site.
