Convenient for town but close to road

I so much wanted this to be flawless review that I’m going to feel a bit guilty about pointing out the few things which I felt detracted for an otherwise great stay. The biggest plus and minus is probably the positioning. It’s very convenient for the town and only a short walk into make full use of shops and restaurants, but the down side of this is that it’s on the main road and the noise can be intrusive – particularly first thing in the morning when all you want to do is have a lie-in. Moreton is very pleasant, but small and ‘done’ in a day, so unless you are prepared to venture further afield, there are a finite number of times you can look at Cotswold kitsch. The wardens were great, informative and the showers were positioned refreshingly far up the walls – at 6’3” I’ve found some sites have them at the ideal height for children. However, the water in the dishwashing area never got above tepid and the pitches seemed a bit narrow. Don’t get me wrong; it is a good site and we’ll almost certainly be back, it could just have been so much more.
