Typically excellent  welcoming staff (with one patronising male exception) could not compensate for ultrasmall pitches, poor drainage and generally poor ambience created by sardine packing. Siting of facilities inconvenient (water and waste disposal) and placing motor home waste water disposal point at a t-junction was unfathomable. Overall site had a tired feeling. This was far from a typical CC site which should rethink site to provide much better space allocation and invest in facilities. West Ayton Scarborough site it is not. It is probably a valuable cash cow short term but medium long term will cause disillusionment and members will vote with their jockey wheels.
