A means to an end

We stayed at this site for several nights from the 15th April. The site was rather water logged in places, as is our back garden, due in some measure to it being on flat level ground at the bottom of a hill. This said, the site is always well maintained and a credit to the team of wardens. It is an easy walk into the village even for the less athletic like myself, but of course this means it is adjacent to the road, and therefore, at various times there is a fair amount of background noise from the traffic, but you can't have one thing without the other. Some pitches are a little mean, and of course the suitability depends to some degree on the size of the outfit/vehicle. We love coming here and will hopefully continue to do so, as the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and because of it's proximity to the main roads, it is an ideal site for a touring base.
