Trialled at the national.

The National , as some of you know, was my first experience of rallying but there was another first that I was looking forward to. It was the first time since I had my 135W solar panel fitted to the roof that I was going 'wild' without EHU. I wasn't totally sure what to expect but it worked out as I had hoped. I had loads of power, could use what I wanted on board in the way of lights, pump, tele and extractor and never seemed to bite into the batteries on board (2 x 110ah). I just watched the regulator giving me free power - it was great!  Didn't need the mover but there would have been loads of power for it had I needed it. Yes it was sunny but I still think it would have been ok if it had been cloudy. Freedom from EHU? Not exactly as our main holidays will be with that extra comfort level but it certainly adds an extra dimension to our travels now.
