It's that time of year again, and you are all invited to the National 2021!

We would have loved to have been welcoming you to a real-life event, but whilst that hasn't been possible this year, we still wanted to come together to bring you some of the parts of the National you love the most.

Join us, and members around the country, for a jam-packed timetable of gin tasting, live music, a quiz - plus so much more.

It's time to get baking for this years virtual National!

It just wouldn’t be the National without a baking competition! This year, we are joined by The Great British Bake Off’s Karen Wright in our National-themed “Show-Stopper-Topper” baking competition.

Karen has created a delicious Madeira sponge cake recipe for us all to bake at home (or on tour!). Watch the video below for the recipe and inspiration (the recipe is also available in our download festival pack). Then it’s over to you to create your own National themed cake topper especially for the occasion! Think bright colours, creative decorations, sparklers, glitter, iced bunting and flags – you name it!

Upload your photos on the competition post in our National Facebook Group or if you're not on Facebook email your photos to socialmedia@camc.com to be in with a chance of winning a luxury basket hamper of treats containing biscuits, shortbread, cookies plus much more. Make sure you enter your photos by 11:59pm on Sunday 23 May to be in with a chance of winning. Only entries on this post will be eligible.

Karen will be announcing the winner at 14:30 on 29 May on our specially designed virtual campsite camc.events.
