Southport Air Show Rally September, 18th – 21st September 2014 Victoria Park, Southport
The Southport Air Show on the seafront is one of the largest aviation events in the North West. Attracting over 80,000 visitors over the two days with a packed flying programme and activities on the beach, this family event is not to be missed!
The Show opens at 9am with attractions on the ground such as static aircraft, bungee trampolines, assault courses, water walkers and the Model Aero Club flying display.
From 10am you can witness light aircraft landing on the purpose built runway on the beach. With Southport being the only Air Show in the UK that can facilitate this, it is a unique sight not to be missed so make sure you arrive early.
The flying programme starts from midday and in the past the Red Arrows have impressed the audience with their patriotic displays and aerobatics. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is also a firm favourite with the audience, commemorating World War II with their display
The Rally
Come and join us at Victoria Park in Southport for this annual event. The air show takes place on 19th & 20th of September above the beach just a few minutes’ walk from the rally field. No car park fees. You are also just a few minutes’ walk away from the centre of Southport. If you get fed up of the aeroplanes, there is always shopping.
Please note only 1 vehicle permitted per unit (unless we have extra space on the day charge £5 per vehicle/day).
No arrivals before 10.00 am. All vans must arrive on Friday - you can stay till Sunday 12.00 noon (2 nights £29) or Monday 11am (3 nights £39). No arrivals on Saturday. No single nights.

Air show tickets
These can be purchased before the event from the air show web site or you can pay on the day. Ticket prices can be found online. The tickets allow you entry to the Air Show village and the beach area directly in front of the air displays. The Air Show village features a whole host of trade stands selling everything from sweets, books, military clothing and models, opening 9.00 – 5.30. There will also be interactive and educational displays, simulators, children's activities and entertainment.
