First Rally at Gt Barford

We have just returned from a long weekend at Gt Barford on the river, are first rally with Beds centre,

We arrived to a warm welcome and were told everything we needed to know,  After setting up we enjoyed a get together in the centre marqee, free tea and coffee and biscuits for all, bring your own bottle/can seemed to be the theme, lol.

The following night we were provided with a fantastic 3 course meal which was great, (myself and eldest son have allergies and they provided for us without hesitation) a good night was had by all.

Then on the Sunday we were treated to a full ploughmans lunch to celebrate some 60th birthdays, it was fantastic.

What more can we say, a great weekend had by myself and family, a great site, and we met some lovely people. Everyone made us feel so welcome.

All this was provided for so little cost and its great to be able to enjoy a nice weekend for so much less than staying on a club site, rallies are the way forward for us!
