Dogs and rallies.

Having attended and enjoyed scores of weekend rallies, there is one issue which IMO needs addressing.

On the Saturday night there is usually a social event. This can be either on the rally field or a more formal affair in a hall in a nearby town.

When the organised social event is on the rallyfield there is never any problems with dogs.

However when the option for attendance at a hall type formal social takes place many attend, but many stay on the rally field and socialise informally.

This is where the problem arises. - Those who have dogs and go off site for the evening social don't seem to care that in some cases, not all,, their dogs having been left in the Caravan, suffer separation anxiety and spend the whole night howling and barking until their owners return.

This spoils the evening for those socialising on the rally field.

Would it be too much to ask for the rally organisers to warn the offending owners and introduce a 3 strikes and you won't be allowed to rally with that centre again.

If owners cannot ensure that their dogs won't be a nuisance, then they should leave them at home or put them in kennels

And yes, I'm a dog owner and love to socialise on the rally field
