Christmas Rallies

On  06th - 10th December a family team from the Suffolk Centre will run a four night event at Marlie Farm, New Romney, Kent. On the Saturday we are planning a day coach trip to the Bruges and Christmas market and a opportunity for a Christmas meal in one of the cities fine restaurants. The site includes EHU at NO extra charge so plenty of power for those caravan Christmas decorations.

Set between the historic villages of New Romney and Dymchurch, Marlie Farm is just a short drive from the beach and boasts a sports field, playground and a family bar with Wi-Fi internet access. Perfect for a relaxing family break exploring the beautiful coast and countryside of Kent and East Sussex.  With some of the best shopping in the country in nearby Ashford this is a must.

Our trip to Bruges.

In December the City of Bruges transforms into a magical Christmas Wonderland. Known as the 'Venice of the North' this stunning medieval city is one of the most beautiful settings in Europe for a Christmas market. Cobbled streets, historic buildings, canals criss-crossing the city and horse and carts offering rides to visitors all combine to make the city the perfect setting for a Christmas time day out. 

The market on the main square forms a ring around an open air ice rink, surrounded by Christmas trees and festive lights. Spend the afternoon shopping at the Market stalls selling Christmas gifts, world famous Belgian chocolates and a fantastic selection of handmade crafts, followed by a visit to one of the many bars and restaurants in this wonderful city.

Situated in the heart of the Garden of England, Kent, designed by architect Lord Richard Rogers, this is one of Europe's most spectacular shopping destinations. It's conveniently located near Ashford  15 miles away from our rally site.

The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway http://www.rhdr.org.uk have a Christmas event, the Santa express times can be found on their web site.
