Are Rally Attendees in Decline ?

We have caravaned and rallied for other 30 years and I suppose most of our social life is with people who were or still are caravaner's.

Each year we do several rallies and some of them we enjoy so much we do every year.  Also popular rallies are always full with waiting lists but I notice that newer rallies can be poorly attended and sometimes even cancelled.

Speaking to dealers and other ralliers newcomers to caravaning seem to want all the comforts of home and are not content with some of the more basic features found on the majority of our rallies.

What do others think ?
