We bought a Vango airbeam awning. In medium winds the beams bend severely. All pressures and guyropes are correctly rigged. Is this normal for these awnings?

No experience of Vango but we have a Kampa Air Pro 390 and have used it extensively over the last two years.  In June, this year, we experienced 50 mph+ winds and although the poles 'flexed' in the gusts, they certainly didn't bend and didn't give any cause for concern.  I did have to double and triple peg some of the bottom fixing points at one stage because there was a danger of it taking off - but, all-in-all, it was fine.

I have a vango varkala 360 recently in quite gusty conditions the awning did flex quite a bit but didn't bend, and I hadn't any guy ropes out, are you sure your pressures are correct?
