Great news - we’re improving our popular Bunree Club Campsite, closing the site for the winter on 4 November 2024 when the works will commence. It is planned that the site will reopen on 1 August 2025. Find out more details on the exciting redevelopment plans at camc.com/redevelopments.
In the meantime you might like to try some alternative campsites:
Bunree Club Campsite in Onich, just 10 miles from Fort William, is a fantastic highland holiday destination and must be one of the loveliest areas on the network in scenic terms - it is, quite literally, breathtaking. Your caravan or motorhome can be parked almost at the water's edge of Loch Linnhe, with your view overlooking the beauty and the splendour of the mountains across from it. You may even be lucky enough to spot sea otters from your pitch. You'll spend a day or two acclimatising to all this natural beauty at the campsite before you even want to explore further afield.
When you do fancy an expedition, Bunree Club Campsite is near what should be one of your first ports of call - a visit to magnificent Ben Nevis. You can take a cable car to the upper terminal (2,300ft) of the Aonach Mor Mountain, for fabulous views of the whole mountain range, the Great Glen and the islands of Skye and Rhum. The site also gives you easy access to guided mountain walks if you choose. Another landmark that is not to be missed is Glencoe - you'll find it eerie and exciting being in the location of one of the most the famous massacres in history, still legendary after three centuries. You can also enjoy the journey on the Jacobite steam pulled train from Fort William to Mallaig (advance booking is advised).
Please Note: Reception at this site may close earlier than 8pm and staff may not be available to greet you. If this is the case, don’t worry, you can still arrive on site until 8pm. We will simply contact you on your day of arrival with details of how to check-in. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on your Membership profile.

Great little campsite, staff are warm and welcoming, the views are stunning, and change as the weather changes. Only been here in autumn but can't wait to come in the warm summer as there is loads of walks nearby. Best site I have been to for wildlife diversity, we saw... Show more

Sadly I could only book one night, this is a popular campsite especially at weekends. Lovely welcome, friendly helpful wardens and very clean facilities. Short walk across the golf course to the beach, easy walk to the village with excellent ice cream parlour and nice pub. I will definitely return... Show more

Lovely site which is very peaceful and has the usual high standard of club facilities. It is lovely when the weather is nice, but clearly less perfect when it's not! The loch side pitches have the best views but are quite exposed to the wind. The free passenger ferry to... Show more

Loved the setting at Bungee, but the toilet and other facilities were quite tatty and old - in need of an update. It was worth the stay, just for the views and the ability to step out of your van almost onto the pebbly beach. A must for beachcombers! ... Show more
