Great news - the first phase of the redevelopment to improve our hugely popular Edinburgh Club Campsite is complete. Phase two redevelopment improvements are underway during autumn/winter/spring 2024/2025 with the site remaining open throughout. Find out more details on the exciting redevelopment plans at camc.com/redevelopments.
Edinburgh Club Campsite is an ideal location for your holiday getaway. Situated on the Firth of Forth, the campsite provides easy access to Edinburgh, Europe's festival capital. You will be ideally located for the many attractions, both modern and historic, that this beautiful city has to offer.
Edinburgh is a friendly, cosmopolitan city. Edinburgh Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of some of its most famous landmarks. You can visit the castle which clings dramatically to a huge rock face (home to the Scottish Crown Jewels), walk down the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyrood House (the King's official Scottish residence), stroll past the historic Scottish Parliament Building or enjoy the tranquil green expanse of Princes Street Gardens. The campsite location also ensures that you're well placed for the famously fun summer festivals, seaside strolls, a round or two of golf, Edinburgh Zoo and an almost unlimited choice of restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues.
The site is only a stone’s throw away from the waterfront where campers can walk along the promenade of Cramond and, only a short drive away, visitors can enjoy the popular coastal suburb of Portobello with its pubs, restaurants and shops.
Please Note: Reception at this site may close earlier than 8pm and staff may not be available to greet you. If this is the case, don’t worry, you can still arrive on site until 8pm. We will simply contact you on your day of arrival with details of how to check-in. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on your Membership profile.

We arrived after a long journey and driving through the housing estate seemed a little strange, we had booked a serviced pitch and we’re directed towards the only working facilities block, these were all taken so we had the take one the other side of the site that backed on... Show more

We too were at the site when it was full with only one facility block available and consider it unfair of the caravan club to charge full rate for limited facilities. The queues were ridiculous! Also why is the full block closed for cleaning as it is now designed to... Show more

What a fantastic pristine site, ideal location for beach and city ! Staff friendly but most of all the facilities were more like home than a campsite. Great place to end our fabulous NC500 trip. Thankyou Scotland we will be coming again!

Excellent location for visiting Edinburgh, 10-15 minute walk to the bus stop then 30-40 minute journey into the city centre. On the flight path so there are frequent planes going over from early morning to late night, not too much of a disturbance though. Also heard cars racing nearby on... Show more

We are not normally fans of staying on 'city' sites but we will definitely return to this one! It's a real gem, with beautifully laid out pitches and the most up to date facility block we've come across. Clean and tidy, with really friendly site staff. The... Show more

A wonderful site on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Site staff were very friendly. The refurbished toilet block was always very clean and even has a drying room for the odd time it does rain! Couple of minutes walk/cycle to the esplanade and 30mins on the bus to get into the city. As mentioned in... Show more
