Stonehaven Club Campsite has an enviable seaside location at Stonehaven Bay. The historic town and harbour of Stonehaven, with its quaint shops and choice of restaurants over looking the bay, is just a short walk away along the promenade. An art deco open-air Olympic size swimming pool is within walking distance outside of the site, and there is a leisure centre in the adjacent village of Cowie with a covered pool amongst other facilities. There is also a challenging cliff top golf course nearby.
There are scenic beach walks to the cliffs of Dunnottar Castle, just 2 miles away, and a wide choice of footpaths and cycle routes amongst the attractive countryside nearby, and further afield is Aberdeen which has become a popular tourist destination.
Please Note: Reception at this site may close earlier than 8pm and staff may not be available to greet you. If this is the case, don’t worry, you can still arrive on site until 8pm. We will simply contact you on your day of arrival with details of how to check-in. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on your Membership profile.

From S on A90: exit onto B979 towards Stonehaven. At the roundabout take 1st exit signposted Stonehaven. Continue for 0.8 miles to the mini roundabout, then take the 2nd exit on B979. After 110 meters, turn left onto Beach road. After 0.1 miles turn left onto the Links. The site is on the left just past the open air swimming pool. Fr N on A90: after approx 13m from Aberdeen, slow down on approach and exit onto B979. Care required as rds narrow. After bdge bear R. Foll rd to mini rndabt and take 1st exit. Then as above.

Amazing 🤩
Absolutely lovely, spotlessly clean site. Toilet's and shower availability are pristine. Credit to the staff. Beautiful location. Dogs loved the sea, and the park over the road is so dog friendly and spacious. Pubs on the sea front/harbour are all dog friendly, nice meals, cold beer and chilled wine. Weather was... Show more

Fun Fair Noise
A lovely site, here with my partner and little dog. It’s a lovely laid out site, wardens are friendly and helpful. Facilities spotlessly clean. However, there is a fun fair nearby and its constant Thud, Thud, Thud from music being played. It’s awful. Starts in the afternoon and carries on... Show more

A jewel by the beach
Love this campsite. Loads to do as you are right by the beach with a short walk into town. Restaurants and cafes galore to choose from.

Stonhaven is a wonderful campsite pleasantly located so close to the sea and all the amenities yet a nice walk The wardens keep the place spotlessly clean and tidy and are always very welcoming and helpful

First Class Site
When we arrived at 1pm both wardens were out checking us in along with others that arrived at the same time. I have never seen this before at Stonehaven. Their welcome was warm and friendly and nothing was any trouble. Toilets and showers were immaculate at all times. Well done... Show more
