Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: 10% OFF Autumn Getaways | Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

Set on a small hillside, Minehead Club Campsite is spread across several flat areas, all of which are attractively screened from the road with plentiful trees and bushes. For shopping and all the attractions of a traditional British seaside resort, Minehead is only a 15-minute walk from the campsite. Another tempting attraction to visit when touring in Somerset is nearby Dunster Castle. Beautiful Exmoor, famous as Lorna Doone country, is also a popular draw, especially for walkers and those with dogs. There are also excellent bus links to explore the Quantocks, Porlock, Taunton and Dulverton.

The coastal path near Minehead Club Campsite is marvellous, with many of its vistas being more impressive than the last. The little lanes and small, intimate villages, such as Porlock, Porlock Weir, Selworthy and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are all well worth the visit for their charm and easily accessible from the campsite. You can also enjoy a scenic steam train journey to Bishops Lydeard which takes in plenty of stops along the way. Be it countryside walks or a taste of the rural life, there is bound to be something to delight visitors to this tranquil destination.

Well kept and managed site with a very warm welcome

Perfect stay for our first weekend away this year, Peter and Sandra were perfect hosts and it was very clear that they took pride in keeping the site spotlessly clean inside and out. Easy walking distance into Minehead and close to Dunster castle which is well worth a visit plus... Show more

Terrific little site

This is a lovely little site, tucked away in an old quarry on the outskirts of Minehead. There are all the usual facilities and friendly staff. I had worried that it might be noisy with the A39 quite close, but we didn’t notice it at all. It might be noisier in... Show more

This was our maiden voyage in our new Motor Home and we were impressed. It had everything there we needed - Wardens were very helpful - Shower Block very clean. If all the sites are like this, then we will be very happy. The only thing I... Show more

Tidy site, but cramped and very expensive.

Tidy club site, wardens seemed like nice folk. Well maintained, showers clean etc. but after a few years of using CL's these club sites and this one in particular are very cramped. You have 2.5 foot between pitches. With the caravan in-between their pegs and a porch awning, our Pick... Show more
