Map showing campsite location

Please only use these recommended directions for your final approach and not sat nav, due to alternative roads being unsuitable for towing. Turn left off the A303 (Ilminster - Honiton) at crossroads signposted Crickleaze, Whitestaunton (about 0.75 mile past La Campagna, Restaurant & Bar) into narrow lane. The site is through the second entrance on the left in 250 yards. Do not turn into first entrance (Five Acres House) as it is difficult to back out. Great central Somerset location

Ilminster Club Campsite
Lovely quiet site. Toilet block closed which probably put visitors off however not an issue for me. Site wardens (two ladies) kept the site well maintained and clean. Junction with A303 a bit hazardous, the verge vegetation needs cutting back for better visibility. Also one of those convex mirrors at the opposite side of the junction would be good, it’s a fast road! Really enjoyed my 2 week stay with plenty to do and see in the area.

Super clean site!

Ilminster Club Campsite
Very helpful and friendly wardens who maintain the site to a high standard - easlily the cleanest shower block we have ever been in. A very quiet site which is close to he A303 but far enough away for no road noise. As others have said, getting out onto the A303 isn't for the faint hearted but with a bit of patience it can be done safely. There are lots of public footpaths around but Somerset doesn't seem keen on making sure they are maintained - crossing the border into Devon showed a marked improvement. In summary - a very nice site and one we hope to return to.

A lovely site

Ilminster Club Campsite
A warm and friendly welcome from both wardens. This is a lovely well kept site with clean and tidy toilet block. We would definitely return if in the area again. We love these small sites.
