Crossways Club Campsite is an imaginatively landscaped destination set in the midst of 35 acres of lush woodland - ideal when touring in Dorset. Pitching is available in open groves, all of which are linked by a scenic snaking road. This makes for easy access around the campsite, from the charmingly named Iron Horse Meadows to Poachers Paradise. If you want to leave the car behind for an excursion or if you're simply a rail enthusiast, the railway is a five minute walk away.
There is a pleasant pub adjacent to Crossways Club Campsite, serving good food. The campsite is within convenient reach of a wealth of interesting attractions at the nearby town of Weymouth. Also close by is the harbour town of Poole, with its blue flag beaches and Lighthouse Arts Centre, and a short drive from the site brings you to the historic market town of Dorchester. From its glorious beach to the charming shops and wide selection of restaurants, there is something memorable to be had for everyone in the family.
Moreton railway station is just a 7 minute walk from Crossways Club Campsite, with services to nearby Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth.
This site has eco-friendly toilets. Shower facilities are located in separate blocks.

This is a great campsite: all family members will have an enjoyable time discovering the hidden treasures. The campsite is well presented amidst a forest setting so no large scale camping/motorhomes/caravans on top of each other but rather carefully divided into small settings. Deer roam free and we were lucky... Show more

This place is truly beautiful. Small pastures set among tall trees. Birdsong is wonderful as are the visiting deer and rabbits. Night time comes alive with toads! Railway not at all noticeable. Great spot to visit Jurassic coast and Purbeck.
