Why stay here ...

LOW 10% refundable deposit plus FREE cancellations and FREE amendments*

Abbey Wood Club Campsite feels positively rural when you reach this gently sloping verdant site. Its mature tree screening and spacious grounds make this a 'green oasis', with tent pitches and pods also available. This campsite's unique selling point is its location - there are shops and good railway connections - Abbey Wood Station is just a short walk away, meaning you can be in central London in around 20 minutes on the new Elizabeth Line. Alternatively, nearby Greenwich offers its own blend of fascinating attractions, including the famous observatory and National Maritime Museum.

Open to caravans, motorhomes and campers, the site caters for all tourers and is a great option for those seeking a city break. The site itself is ideal for families, with plenty facilities on-site to make your stay a comfortable one.

River cruises operate from nearby Abbey Wood Club Campsite between Greenwich, Tower Bridge, Westminster, Kew, Richmond and Hampton Court. Open all year, this is one of our busier London caravan sites, and is very popular with European visitors during the summer months. There are good reasons to visit Abbey Wood throughout the year though. The Christmas Lights, shopping at the January Sales, the London Marathon, Excel Centre and the Chelsea Flower show can all be enjoyed from this scenic, yet well placed, site.

Please note: this Club campsite is situated within the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) which means you may need to pay a fee based on your vehicle's emissions, age and weight. The best way to find out is to use the Transport for London Low Emission Zone Checker. To avoid any late payment penalties, it's best to set up an Auto Pay account before you travel and then the appropriate payment is taken automatically when you drive into the zone.

A wonderful stay

Abbey Wood Club Campsite
This is the second time we have stayed at this campsite. We chose it because of it's location - we have family in London and the Elizabeth line makes visiting them so easy. Apart from that, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the site is beautifully kept. The wildlife was exciting too - woodpeckers, squirrels, foxes and parakeets! Great stay.

London trip for RFL Rugby final

Abbey Wood Club Campsite
Fabulously located site; 10 mins walk to Abbey Wood Elizabeth Line Tube Station (20 mins into Central London). Also, overground rail service from same location. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were also very accommodating when, as we enjoyed ourselves so much, we decided to stay another, extra night. The site is in a pleasant, green oasis and, you would never guess you are inLondon. Constant birdsong, plenty of squirrels and, the odd fox. All the facilities were very clean; plenty of individual showers and washrooms with constant hot water and, plenty of loos. Nice facilities to wash dishes and, a laundry if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Abbey Wood and will definitely return if the need arises. Thank you to all the staff for being so welcoming. 🥰

London trip

Abbey Wood Club Campsite
A repeat visit to this site in order to visit children who live in London. The wardens are very friendly. The showers are lovely and clean, plenty of hot water, and and laid out well, although tad dated. Easy to get into London, even with the part closure of the Elizabeth line last weekend from Abbey Wood. Will return again when another visit to London is required.

Wonderful stay

Abbey Wood Club Campsite
We would like to thank Paul, Karen and all the team for their kindness and understanding when we had family issues and needed to stay longer to be near our daughter. We really appreciated how they looked after us which made all the difference. We really enjoyed our stay on this friendly, beautiful, green site in the middle of London with so much sightseeing close by and easy to reach on the Elizabeth line and river taxis.
