Ideally located just 2 miles east of Brighton, nestled within a fold of the South Downs and just a short distance inland from the Marina, the picturesque East Sussex campsite offers easy access to the many attractions of this popular town. Buses are regular and for rail enthusiasts the historic Volks Railway which runs along the prom will be a treat.

Brighton is a classic and lively British seafront town, filled with all the attractions you would expect from a famous coastal resort. The shopping is excellent with many unusual boutiques and antique shops to browse in. The town also has an operational pier, complete with amusement arcades and some of the finest fish and chips on the south coast, and is home to the Royal Pavillion. The site is also well placed for visiting the historic town of Lewes, or the beautiful Arundel Castle and Gardens in nearby West Sussex. With plenty to see and do locally and extensive recreational grounds adjacent to the caravan park, you're sure to have a holiday here that will be hard to forget.

Great for a weekend in Brighton

Brighton Club Campsite
We love this site, it's the 2nd visit and it's perfect for what we want. We came here initially for 2 days in the summer and the whole place has a really good vibe about it. The team are brilliant and always go out of their way to help. Its location is perfect for those wanting to spend the weekend in Brighton as its literally a 10 minute walk to the bus stop a short 10 minute bus ride into old Stein and your right next to the heart of Brighton. The site facilities are always clean and there is enough to go around for a site this size. It's quiet too which is great. The pitches are a good size and well spaced out so you have room to spread out. We will definitely be back here.

Fabulous

Brighton Club Campsite
We've just returned home after spending 6 nights at the Brighton club site. Firstly the welcome was so friendly, we had multiple pitches due to us booking late, and Sonya bent over backwards to try to accommodate us. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful, but Sonya, Jane and Ron all shone, so thank you. The site is beautiful, well maintained, spotlessly clean with hot showers. We've already booked for next year and can't wait.

Family visit

Brighton Club Campsite
Overall a good site for access into Brighton. We were delayed getting there and called ahead and was told they shut at 8pm and to stay in the late arrivals bay. I was assured there was electric hook up too. When we arrived the hook up was taken by the on-site food caravan! Overall a very expensive car park stay especially as the second night we were there we saw another late arrival being allowed in by staff. Felt quite put out by this.

Overall not a great experience

Brighton Club Campsite
We were travelling down with our caravan alongside family who were travelling in their motorhome. Unfortunately, their motorhome broke down en route and it was disappointing to hear of the lack of empathy from the club and the demands that they pay a surplus of £26 to stay in the lay-by outside the site as they were arriving after 8pm. They had already paid £62 for a pitch on the site that they weren't able to access! Terrible customer service The facilities were dated and not the cleanest and the number of toilets was not adequate for the number of men on site and it is obvious they hadn't been cleaned for many hours. There was faecal staining in every toilet (all 4). I couldn't see a cleaning rota either. All in all a disappointing experience and leaves a bitter taste in your mouth that the club's priority is now that of making money rather than providing a good customer experience.

Very re visitable

Brighton Club Campsite
On top of all the good points about the site itself I really like how on the one side it is so easy to reach Brighton by bus, walking, cycling, driving it also feels so far removed from the city and well into the countryside. Add to that is the ease of reaching to the east of the city, Rottingdean, Peacehaven, Seaford, Newhaven, Lewes etc. all great for a day out yet not too far away as to make it an effort.
