In an area which traditionally has a mild, warm climate making it an excellent summer getaway, Blackpool South Club Campsite is level and open, with good screening from the road. This campsite in Lancashire gives visitors convenient access to the town of Blackpool, which as Britain's premier seaside resort offers non-stop amusement for the whole family from morning to night. Children can also enjoy the playground on site, and horse riding which is based just around the corner.
The North West location of Blackpool South Club Campsite makes it an ideal gateway to the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Famous attractions include The Sands and the Illuminations (late August to early November) and the Blackpool Pleasure Beach where you will find thrilling rides like the tallest, scariest roller coaster in the UK.
But the reasons to stay at Blackpool South aren't limited to the city limits of Blackpool. From M55: continue past junction 4 and in 0.75 mile turn left at roundabout (signposted St Anne's, Airport); within 0.5 mile at roundabout turn left (second exit) into Cropper Road. Site on left in 60 yards. The site’s security barriers are open between 9am-8pm. If you have booked in advance and experience unforeseen delays to your journey, please telephone the site office before 8pm. If you propose to visit without an advance booking, we strongly advise that you telephone the site between 9am-8pm prior to arrival.

Hard to access Blackpool
Blackpool South Club Campsite
This my first review of a caravan site having been a member for a long time but I feel I need to give a heads up to the area this site is situated in. As a keen cyclist it was very very difficult to get to Blackpool on a cycle. The only cycle path local was in an atrocious condition with dog and horse mess everywhere. The bus is also very difficult to get to and an obscene long journey to get you to Blackpool when you eventually find the bus stop. We did eventually brave the main roads being very busy to get to Blackpool which did have decent cycling along the promenade. There is also nowhere to walk at night and not even a local pub, there is traffic noise from the site if you pitch near the road but the site itself is very clean and tidy but we will unfortunately not visit this site again.

So welcoming and friendly
Blackpool South Club Campsite
John and Kate couldn't have made us feel more welcomed on returning to our favourite site.
Shortly after pitching we found our fridge wasn't working Kate went above and beyond to assist resolve the issue. Not only did she help get us in touch with a contact to come out to do the repairs, she offered to store our food so it wouldn't go off, as the repairs took a few days waiting for parts.
A million thanks to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable after a bumpy start.
Had a brilliant week and will be back soon.

Blackpool South Club Campsite
There have been 2 long standing couples who were wardens here for many years and now Steve and Sue have lived up to the high standards they set. The couldn't be more welcoming, friendly and accommodating especially when we had a problem with our caravan. Had a great week and can't wait to come back again.
Exceeded Expectations
Blackpool South Club Campsite
Picked this site to break journey from Scotland on our way back home. Good easy access from the M6/M55. Friendly hard-working site staff. Site is flat and well laid out. There is a huge Tesco Extra near by which was handy to fuel up on our departure. We preferred this actual site to Southport - only downside is that there is no nearby bus stop to get into town - whereas in Southport you have a pleasant walk through the park to get into town.

Blackpool South Club Campsite
This is a great site, conveniently located for the Blackpool facilities but far enough away to avoid the noise etc. Ideal site for small children and with very polite and professional staff who on hearing I didn't have a motormover came out without asking to help guide me in as I reversed in to the pitch. They also keep the site pristine and the bathrooms spotlessly clean.
We stayed over the Easter weekend and can't recommend highly enough.
