Mud Mayhem - Ilfracombe, Devon
A 4x4 off-roading mud filled terrain experience as you try to overcome the plethora of challenging obstacles.
View and BookSadly, Ilfracombe Club Campsite has seen a decline in member visits over recent years, making it unsustainable to continue operations. As part of our strategy to focus on locations that better align with the requirements of the membership, we have recently acquired campsites like Lickpenny Matlock, enhancing our network in popular areas. While the closure of Ilfracombe may be disappointing, our UK Club campsite network now offers approximately 180,000 more available pitch nights than in 2018, across fantastic sites that cater to the interests of the wider membership.

There are also a number of Certificated Locations in the local area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely site and best dog walk area ever; sections of wildflowers and paths. More interesting for me and my dog. Basic site facilities but well kept. Didn't quite get the views that are displayed and a bit remote for me. Nice pub and shop nearby but... Show more

This is one of our favorite sites. Lovely friendly, helpful wardens and site is kept imaculate. Site is quiet and plenty of space between caravans. If you walk down to the village a bus does pick up opposite the pub going to Braunton and Barnstaple. Nice dog walking... Show more

Having not been to a club site in 4 years, we are so glad we chose this site because it has the biggest pitches and nicest wardens (Gary and Sarah) we’ve ever come across. The location’s great (but mind your 1pm rule!!) and 5 mins from Woolacombe with a... Show more

We stayed at this site last week and I have to say it's one of the most peaceful club sites I've been on. There is an excellent pub just a short walk down the line and everything else is literally on your doorstep 10 to 15 minutes away. Most excellent... Show more

The site is very spacious and is a joy to stay at. Close to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Combe Martin. The site managers Gary & Sarah really care about the site and maintain it to a very high standard. Watermouth castle is a must for families with young children. Having no toilet block means... Show more

Very friendly and helpful wardens, lovely open aspect from every pitch, in striking distance of great beaches and Devon places of interest. It’s brilliant value if, like us, you use caravan facilities. At a time when some club sites are £50 a night, this is a winning combination for a... Show more

Plenty of space at this well looked after peaceful site. There is a pub in walking distance, for anything else a short drive. My only criticism is that the club internet coverage is very poor. Excellent value for money and we look forward to returning.

Stayed for 8 nights on this site. It is well kept with caring wardens. The site has views of the surrounding countryside with a large play field & the best dog walk we have seen on club sites. The pitches are well spaced out. Would definitely return... Show more
