Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite is a pleasant and green location, with grass and hard standing pitches for your comfort. The campsite is surrounded by statuesque mature trees, adding privacy to your stay whilst enhancing the area's natural beauty. Nearby Henley is said to date from the early twelfth century. It has many old and interesting buildings for you and your family to discover, and is the home of the famous Regatta in June and July. This is followed a week later by a popular music festival and traditional boat rally, which involves the odd wooden-built craft for a touch of nostalgia.

The ornate stone bridge that spans across the River Thames is a popular landmark for visitors to Henley Four Oaks Club Campsite. It dates from 1786, though there is evidence of an earlier bridge dating from as early as 1170. The town is easily reached from the campsite and there are many antique shops, art galleries and charming boutiques for you to browse. Another fun excursion would be to take a leisurely boat ride on the lovely Thames, travelling as far afield as Marlow or even Maidenhead. The site is well placed to visit some very interesting places including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace and the city of London. Legoland, approximately 15 miles drive from the site, is a great fun day out for children.

Please Note: Reception at this site may close earlier than 8pm and staff may not be available to greet you. If this is the case, don’t worry, you can still arrive on site until 8pm. We will simply contact you on your day of arrival with details of how to check-in. Please ensure your contact details are up to date on your Membership profile.

Directions

Map showing campsite location

From the East take the M4 junction 8/9 onto the A404 and then take the A4130. Cross river bridge into Henley-on-Thames. At the third set of traffic lights (including pedestrian crossing) turn right into road signposted Marlow, Oxford. In 0.25 mile at mini roundabout fork right onto A4155 (signposted Marlow). The site is on the left in about 0.5 mile (500 yards past entrance to Swiss Farm Caravan Site). From the M40: leave at junction 4 onto A404. We recommend not using junction 5 or 6 of the M40, as routes include single-track lanes and steep hills. Turn onto the A4155 (signposted Marlow, Henley). The site is on the right about 7 miles past Marlow (0.5 miles past Toad Hall Garden Centre). Please note, those who do not know the town well are advised not to drive or tow through Reading.

Beware of the Red Kites!

Lovely site close to Henley, easy walk along a busy road to get to the town. Road noise as others have mentioned. My husband had his cheese sandwich swiped from his plate by a cheeky Red Kite! It was very funny and fabulous to see such magnificent birds, but... Show more

Lovely small site but with road noise

We had a nice few days here. The site is small, well spaced with friendly staff who keep it very clean. There are 2 dog areas, one tiny near the entrance and another that is small but has dog throws provided which our dog loved! There are lots of rabbits,... Show more

Good but needs improving

Overall we had a good stay at Henley, the team were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. The pitches were large and relatively level with EHU close by. Toilet facilities were wonderfully clean and heated. The dog walking area was very small, more of a chicken run than an area to let your dogs... Show more

Lovely sire but shame about the road

This is a great site in almost every respect, just spoiled by the busy road that runs alongside the site. If you're living in your van, or just using it as a base for trips it probably won't be a problem. But will be very noisy day and night in the... Show more

Lovely site close to Henley. We had a lovely greeting from the staff. Facilities are very well kept. We had a lovely 6 mile circular walk along the Chiltern Way from the bridge in town. Lots of great shops and places to eat. Only issue we had was that it... Show more
