Paul and Helen Clarke are pleased to welcome you to Brunette Cottage Certified Location situated in the scenic border country between North Shropshire and Wales.
Our site is in a quiet rural location with views towards the Welsh Hills. We have a choice of both grass and hard standing pitches. All our pitches have their own water and 16amp electricity supply. Motorhomes are welcome.
Our site is dog friendly and has its own dog walking area adjacent to the main site. There are several public footpaths close by giving walkers the opportunity to explore the lovely local countryside.
The village of Malpas which is about 5 minutes away provides all those local essentials including grocery shops, a chemist and a takeaway. Slightly further away, the market town of Whitchurch offers a full range of shops including two supermarkets. For nature lovers Ellesmere with its lakes and woodland walks is also close by.
We are only a couple of minutes from the main road network providing quick and easy access to large parts of Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales. Highlights not to miss include the Roman city of Chester and Llangollen in the beautiful Dee Valley.

Outstanding CL
Had a lovely weekend at this site first time here and will hopefully return in the summer. Fantastic CL
Just back from a long weekend, first visit here. What a lovely site. So peaceful, beautiful scenery, really good sized serviced pitches and a small area for dog walking. Will definitely be back, one of the best CLs we've been on

A Chance to Relax
What a lovely, peaceful site. Toilet and shower hut clean and tidy, plus fully functional. Owners greeted us with a smile and left us to set up site without any bother at all. Thoroughly recommend this site, you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely CL in a nice setting
This is our 2nd time here and won't be the last. Paul and Helen are the lovely owners of Brunette Cottage. The site access is good off a lane 1.5 miles from the main A road there is room for vehicles to pass on most of it. Fully serviced pitches... Show more

A beautifully kept CL
We stayed here for a single night on the 31st of May but wish we could have stayed longer. The site is absolutely beautiful. We had a very friendly welcome and were shown where everything was. The pitches are spacious and grounds around each pitch are very neat and tidy.... Show more

Hidden gem
Brunette cottage is a beautifully kept, peaceful CL just on the Welsh side of the England: Wales border. If you are looking for a pleasant surprise off the beaten track then look no further. Instead of rushing to the coast or following the crowds in Eryri ( Snowdonia) come here... Show more

Perfect CL
