Young Driver - Cardiff
Teenagers get the chance to start, steer, manoeuvre, reverse and park on a specifically designed road system.
View and BookTrecastell Farm CL is a secluded site set on a small working farm. Easy access to the M4 (juntions 34 and 35) makes this an ideal stopping point for West Wales and the Irish ferries. It is a convenient location to explore the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, South Wales Valleys, Brecon Beacons and the market town of Cowbridge. The capital city of Wales, Cardiff, is a 12 minute train ride from nearby Pontyclun station. Wales' most visited tourist attraction, Saint Fagan's museum, is a 20 minute drive away.
The pitches are grassed and flat with stunning views. There are no additional charges for electricity, awnings, cars, children or pets. Water is available on site with the disposal point within 50 meters. There is good television reception. The only rule is that you enjoy yourself and respect fellow caravaners.
2 pubs within a mile serve meals and real ale. Within 3 miles, there is a wide variety of restaurants and shops, from a 24 hour superstore to local independent stores.
We have many regular visitors who compliment us on the peaceful, clean and convenient site. We hope that once you have stayed you too will wish to return.

The Chap on the phone was lovely, we did not meet the site owner/managers but were warned they were busy during lambing season.. Very poorly signed, the signs... Show more

We didn’t like this site. On arrival it was obvious that the best pitching places were already taken by 2 caravans which looked like permanent fixtures. Obviously in use by people from, or associated with, the farm. There was one other tourist caravan on site, and we struggled to find... Show more

A visit in August 2015... The site is quiet with lovely views as other reviews have said. We were using this as "dormitory" for visiting family in Pontypridd - so rather far away. Our visit was totally overshadowed by the state of the disposal facilities. The pipework was broken, leaving... Show more
