- Alan and Julia welcome you to Offa’s Meadow which is situated in the quiet village of Forden on Offa’s Dyke with stunning views of Corndon Hill and Long Mountain.
- The CL is flat with 5 grass pitches.
- Close by is Coed-y-Dinas Garden Centre with a restaurant and soft play area which will keep the children occupied during a wet afternoon and during school holidays they sometimes have special activities.
- The Derwen garden centre in Guilsfield is worth a visit. At certain times of the year they do a trail for children around the themed gardens and have a lovely onsite restaurant.
- The nearest town is Welshpool which is home to Powis Castle, a national trust site with wonderful walks around the vast gardens.
- Situated near the Raven pub in the town is the Llanfair light railway, a lovely journey to Llanfair through beautiful countryside.
- A 30 minute drive will take you to Shrewsbury which has some wonderful walks along the river as well as shops, pubs and restaurants.
- The Love2Stay site is worth a visit and has 2 restaurants for food.
- A 30 minute drive in the other direction will take you to the market town of Oswestry where we can highly recommend a visit to the British Ironworks.
- Food and drinks can be found in various locations in the surrounding area.
- The village of Forden has 2 pubs, 1 of which serves food.

Wonderful site
Wonderful find just outside Welshpool. Lovely flat site with plenty of room for the van and car. Clean facilities, shower well stocked and clean with separate room for info ect. Very large dog exercise area. Warm welcome from Julie with an offer of a cuppa and a small gift.... Show more

Warm Welcome
Warm and friendly welcome, with a fresh brew brought to us!! Info sheet with local sites very useful, lovely facilities. Couldn't ask for more! Will definitely be going back, and staying longer.

A great find
Had a great welcome on arrival , with a cuppa !! Large flat pitch with a fabulous view. Clean toilet and shower room. Take pound coins for the electric meter. Stayed here for three days and will certainly be returning.

Absolutely amazing!
What a find! Never knew a CL site could be so perfect. Fantastic spacious pitch. Excellent facilities. Owners very friendly that go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you for a great weekend. Will definitely be visiting you again!

Julia greeted us with tea and a little gift. Toilet and shower are very clean and well maintained. Site was spacious and well maintained. Gates are shut at night for extra security. Toilet waste disposal is very good, there are picnic benches available for each pitch - nice touch Julia lent us her portal... Show more

This CL is outstanding. A warm welcome with a cup of tea. Beautifully spaced pitches. When the young hedges mature this will provide privacy between pitches. Amazing site
Wow what a super site. A cup of tea on arrival. A beautiful, clean site. £18 a night and we used £2.00 electric over 2 days (metered) . Amazing views, a dog field, free showers. Incredible value for money. The family are so friendly and helpful. So impressed we stayed... Show more
