Why stay here ...
We welcome you to The Vine just north of Welshpool. The CL is ideal for families who enjoy visiting Oswestry, Llangollen, Shrewsbury and Welshpool as they are all only a short drive away. The Welshpool and Llainfair Light Railway is 5 miles. The Iron Museum located on the A5 is also worth a visit. Outside the CL is a canal walk on the Montgomeryshire Canal. Powys Castle is also in Welshpool.
The CL has 5 super-electrics with water and waste disposal on each pitch. Ruth is more than happy to provide information and walks that will stimulate and exercise and make the holiday one to remember.

Superb CL
We have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Vine CL and all i can say is that its Superb.....Other people have described many plaudits and i can only confirm . Site is very clean, extremely spacious hardstanding pitches which have own water and EHU... Show more

Great CL - Hope it keeps going....
Our third visit to this great CL. Unlike previous visits, the weather was mainly awful with pouring rain and howling gales! How glad we were to have hardstanding and piped fresh water and grey waste drainage. Elsan disposal close by when the rain stopped. Excellent walking from the site along... Show more

Pleasant stay
Easy access and not far from Welshpool for amenities. Nice level hard standing pitches with own water and grey waste. No shower or toilet but that doesn’t bother us. Clean and tidy site. Pub within walking distance. Plenty of space to exercise our dig. For the price it was definitely worth... Show more

Easter 🐣 weekend

Quiet with excellent set-up
Stayed for two nights and will hopefully be back for another stay soon. Very quiet site on the edge of a small village. Fully serviced pitches which were excellent and level hard-standing. 10 -15 minutes walk to the pub and easy to get to Oswestry and Welshpool and the surrounding... Show more

Well spaced site in good location

Escape from lockdown
The Vine was our first break after lockdown, great site with fully serviced pitches, good location for exploring Wales and Shropshire, booked again for 2022 and looking forward to it already

Lovely flat site in easy walking distance to the Montgomery canal. Fully serviced pitches which is important these days. Easy driving distance to Powis Castle which is well worth a visit.
