The mid-Wales Tŷ Mawr!

Ty-Mawr
Just about in the middle of Wales! Very easy access, directly from “B” road and close to A470. Care needed on exit. Basic, and ridiculously cheap for facilities offered. Very welcoming owner, whose farm gates are precision instruments! Diolch, Phil.

Super Find

Ty-Mawr
Traveling around Wales for 10 nights, found this site and so glad we did. Easy access off the road directly into the field. There are 5 hard standing pitches all easily accessible without having to go onto the grass. Water, bin, elsan and lovely countryside views. It is close to the road, but it's not busy. Phil, the farmer is a lovely bloke. It's basic but that's what a cl should be, in our opinion 😉. £5 per night is absolutely brilliant for a secure parking spot, slightly sloping, but we found we could get more or less level in our Moho without putting levelling blocks out 😁. Highly recommend. Thanks Phil for accommodating us at short notice. We will be back.

Easy Access - Hard Standing - Space

Ty-Mawr
Very friendly, helpful owners. Extremely easy access - wide gate. Plenty of hard standing spaces between grass - Very large area to choose where to pitch - would not be near any other outfits, important in present times. Basic site as per idea of original CL's fair price, no electric, no showers, no toilets. So not paying for something every outfit is equipped with. Site slightly sloping, some traffic noise at commuter times, quiet at other times. We will definitely use again

Lovely CL, Great Owners

Ty-Mawr
We spent a very enjoyable 10 days here August. We had booked on a Cl with the 'other club' which had 9 vans on it so we decided not to stay and rang Tracey who had a spot available. Roy went straight out to mow the pitch and they insisted we check the site first before we towed the caravan over.We were certainly not disapointed. The site is impeccable with immaculate lawns, surrounded by fields and is amazingly quiet. Tracey and Roy have horses, lama's, hens and guinea fowl in the fields which are great for children. This is one of the best cl's I have ever been to and it's a credit to them. I will certainly return as do many well established regulars.

We have been coming to Tracey and Roy's site for years even to the point where we've seen their daughter Amy grow up! Fantastic hosts, fantastic setting, great for local amenities , clean tidy and well kept CL you'll struggle to find a better one !
