The mid-Wales Tŷ Mawr!

Just about in the middle of Wales! Very easy access, directly from “B” road and close to A470. Care needed on exit. Basic, and ridiculously cheap for facilities offered. Very welcoming owner, whose farm gates are precision instruments! Diolch, Phil.

Super Find

Traveling around Wales for 10 nights, found this site and so glad we did. Easy access off the road directly into the field. There are 5 hard standing pitches all easily accessible without having to go onto the grass. Water, bin, elsan and lovely countryside views. It is close to... Show more

Easy Access - Hard Standing - Space

Very friendly, helpful owners. Extremely easy access - wide gate. Plenty of hard standing spaces between grass - Very large area to choose where to pitch - would not be near any other outfits, important in present times. Basic site as per idea of original CL's fair price, no electric,... Show more

Lots of road noise; overnight stay only

The other reviews here are about Ty-Mawr in Anglesey. This CL near Newbridge-on-Wye is in a field adjacent to a busy B road and is anything but tranquil. It does have drive through hard standing and would be good for a stop over in wet conditions en route to a... Show more

Been coming for years - and many years to come

We have been coming to Tracey and Roy's site for years even to the point where we've seen their daughter Amy grow up! Fantastic hosts, fantastic setting, great for local amenities , clean tidy and well kept CL you'll struggle to find a better one !

A great place to stay

We received a very warm welcome when we first visited this site a couple of years ago and whenever we come to Anglesey we stay here. The children love to see the horses and llamas. The beach is a 5 minute drive away yet the site is quiet and peaceful.

rural perfection near the sea

Such a lovely warm welcome. Everything is right about this site. I hesitated to provide a review as it is one I would like to keep to myself! I am sorry to say my dog chased one of the owner's chickens - she politely asked me to keep the... Show more
