The National Wool Museum
Follow the process from fleece to fabric and visit the restored listed mill buildings and historic machinery.
View and BookThe Gatehouse CL was originally a toll gate built in about 1830.
It is found in a very quiet road with a private, sheltered and level site, with hard standings and surrounded by trees.
Access to the Miners Walk (the old coal railway line) is opposite the site which is great for dog walkers, so well behaved dogs are welcome.
Klgetty village is a 5 minute walk away and has a petrol station, bakery, supermarket, chemist, take aways and other shops. Also not forgetting the Begelly Arms Hotel at the end of the road serving good food.
We are 4.5 miles from Tenby and 1.5 miles from Saundersfoot with lovely beaches and harbours.
National Express and local bus routes stop at the end of the road and the train station is 0.5 miles in Kilgetty village. Entrance to the site is through a stone gateway allowing access to even the largest outfits with care.
Advance booking is recommended for peak times as we have many regular visitors.
We hope you come and visit us and do not forget to ask for your welcoming cup of tea!

Location very good, great for bus, train, shop, takeaway (didn't use) and walks. However,... Show more
