Why stay here ...

Glynafon CL is set in a quiet location close to Wisemans Bridge beach, The Wisemans Bridge Inn restaurant and shops, all only half a mile away. Saundersfoot is only a 30 minute walk along the coast path and has a very good selection of restaurants and bars.

There are lots of walks close by and lots of scope to explore the surrounding area and further afield if desired, including parts of the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The bus passes the entrance and stops when requested.

We have an abundance of castles in Pembrokeshire and lots of wonderful scenery to see and places to explore. Tenby holds the Ironman Wales in September (dates vary). This is a wonderful event to see and cyclists come through Wisemans Bridge to watch. It does not effect the road to our site though some roads in the area are closed on the Sunday that this event takes place.

Saundersfoot holds St. David's market in March and a Christmas market in December. In November there is a fireworks display around the 5th and another display on New Year's Eve.

We are a small holding and have pedigree sheep which our daughter, son-in-law and family show at local agricultural shows and also at The Royal Welsh show.

We are an Adult only site and we welcome well behaved dogs, which have to be kept on a lead at all times whilst on site. We do insist on this.

Our pitches are all hard standing with electric, water and grey waste disposal. We have a shower room which also has a toilet and was basin and a separate toilet and wash basin. There is a charge to use the shower (from £0.20).

Facilities on site ...

Absolutely Wonderful!

This was our first experience, of a club CL, and what an experience it was! We were given a warm welcome, by the owners` daughter, KIM and her husband, KEIRON, who were running the site, in the owners` absence. Nothing was too much trouble. The pitches all have their own... Show more

Warm Welsh welcome

I must agree with"rhish 1706" and Hardwicks27. This little gem of a site is everything they said- please read their review. I have visited Mary and Berwyn several times over the last 4/5 years and look forward to my visits every time. You get a welcome second to none, you arrive... Show more

Fab site, location and especially owners

Just returned following a 2 night stay - curtailed by 3 due to a family bereavement. The site is perfectly located, a flat 10 min walk to Wiseman's Bridge (and its Inn...), and either a 30 min flat nice walk to Saundersfoot or the other way up the road and... Show more

May Bank Holiday fantastic find

This is a lovely site with very friendly and knowledgeable owners. Previous reviews had commented on vehicles on site however the site was in the midst of a big clear up already looking much better than we had expected. It is a lovely setting with nice views across the valley... Show more

Would not recommend

Welcomed by owner and proximity to site excellent but stay completely spoiled by small size of bottom pitch and site appearance. We were in one of the bottom pitches with a caravan awning on one side and the entrance/exit track on the other, next to which and behind us... Show more
