Not as expected

We intended too stay 3 weeks but had asked for hardstanding pitch and we’re not told there was none available so we only stayed for 1 week. There are 2 hardstanding pitches but they seem too be permanently occupied.I don’t think this is an all year site’ admittedly it as been... Show more

LOvely little site with sensible prices.

Arrived with no one at home, but pitched up no problem. There is an honesty box on the side of the central small stone outbuilding (take an envelope with you for cash!) . We did not see the owner whilst there overnight. Clean well kept site. There are as you... Show more

Would definitely return

Have used this CL twice now. 1st time just a one night stopover on our way to Wales. 2nd time again we were on our way to Wales but we stayed an extra night so as to be able to have a look round the area instead of just driving... Show more

Very Pleasant and convenient

Well manicured grass pitches next to a field with a few sheep. Close by some interesting walks and walking distance to Chepstow. The Severn is within view Working farm , yet probably the quietest farm animals we every came across. All in all lovely and conveniently located for a quick getaway or short stay.

Lovely little gem.

We have now stayed here three times as it is close to our daughter and her family. The site is a simple site but in a lovely setting. On our first two visits it was grass only but now there is hardstanding available but best to request this when booking.... Show more

Adequate CL

We booked for 3 nights. We arrived after dark and couldn't find the hard standing so we drove just onto the grass. In the morning we relocated to higher ground but there is no hard standing to go onto. The price is now £10 a night not the £8 advertised.... Show more

First time here - will stopover again

Excellent C.L. for a night or two stop-over. Warm welcome. Well maintained site. Quiet and peaceful. Felt very secure leaving motorhome for a good walk. Good nearby Pub with food. Very pretty Village with historic Church, worth a look.

A hidden gem

This is a lovely little farm site. On arrival we were advised by the owner to park where we wanted and so we tucked ourselves in the corner and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Obviously you can hear a low hum from the motorway but it didn't bother us. The... Show more

Second time here

This was our second visit to this peaceful site, despite it being nestled between the M48, a railway and industrial estate the site is quiet. The views are pleasant, being able to see the Severn bridges. There are walks from the site on the coastal & other footpaths. The grass... Show more

Superb Non EHU site

We regularly use this site whilst visiting grandchildren. Well maintained lawn area, quite flat. Access through Mathern easy and through farm yard. Mathern is a lovely village with excellent pub. Chepstow is some 3 miles away with everything from Wetherspoons, M &S food and Tesco. There is a rustic toilet.... Show more
