Fantastic CL

What a fabulous CL. The best views, great walks from the site including to a beautiful old church, quiet, rural and a very warm welcome. We would definitely recommend this site. Thank you.

Stunning View and Friendly Welcome

What a great example of why we love small CL sites. Located on a ridge with stunning views of the valley and mountains. We were warmly welcomed by Steve and Milly the Patterdale Terrier. The facilities are as described, a drinking water tap, chemical waste disposal and bins. Exactly what... Show more

Peaceful and glorious view

We were lucky to be the only visitors for one night in late October but it would be peaceful at any occupancy. Steve told us that the view had been officially nominated as "best view in Monmouthshire" and if there's a better one, I would like to see it! ... Show more

Beautiful CL

Cledd y Tan is a very well kept CL with unrivalled views. The approach is via a narrow lane but presented no problems to this relatively inexperienced caravanner. Entrance is via a farmyard which, again, presented no problems. Although the pitches are sloping, wooden levelling blocks are provided. All... Show more

It's all about the view

A beautifully simple CL with one of the best views. All pitches are sloping but hard standings and large blocks are supplied for levelling. 16A EH U to every pitch and water readily available from a tap centrally located. The owner Steve is very pleasant and good fun. The access... Show more

Uncomfortable

First is that the views from this site Are fantastic and we were made very welcolm. But because the pitch was really sloping it was really uncomfortable, so we wont be back again, which is a shame.

Shh, don’t tell everyone!

A little gem, so special that I am nervous about recommending it in case it gets busy and we can’t get a pitch! Lovely welcome from Steve, and great comms from Lynne, whom we have yet to meet. Thank you for being very accommodating and friendly hosts - and thanks... Show more

Absolute Gem

We found this CL by chance while looking for somewhere 'safe' and quiet. What a find!! As others have said the views are stunning and Steve and Lynne couldn't have been more helpful. We stayed for 3 weeks in September and returned in October until we had to leave because... Show more

Fantastic views

This CL has probably one of the best views of any CL. The site is on a working farm and could be a bit muddy if the weather is wet. The access is straight forward and comes in through the farm yard – look out for the signs directing... Show more
