View and BookThe Meadows Bryncrug is set within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park amidst mountains, streams and waterfalls, with some lovely walks and cycle rides.
Within 400 yards is the Peniarth good food pub, and many other good choices in the local area, Tywyn, Aberdovey and Taly-Llyn-Lake to name but a few. The coastal town of Tywyn is just 2.3 miles away with its shops, the Magic Lantern 3D cinema, numerous eateries and wonderful sandy beaches where dolphins are frequently seen close to the shore. Dog friendly to most parts. Try not to miss some of the spectacular sunsets from the beach.
Rhyd-yr-onnen single gauge railway request stop is a 3/4 mile walk from the Meadows, this can take you either to Tywyn or inland to the Dolgoch Falls and Abergynolwyn.
We are also on the bus route to Tywyn, Machynlleth and Dolgellau etc.
Barmouth's single track wooden railway, crossing the River Mawddach estuary is a favourite for walkers, cyclists or just taking the journey on the train up to Pwllheli, further up in the North of Wales.
Local dog walks. 1 mile around Bryncrug village is known locally as the globe. Or 1/2 mile through the field. Further afield following the river from the Meadows down to the estuary past broadwater and on to Bailey Bridge.
A haven for bird watches, buzzards, kites and smaller wildlife.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.

Stayed here 14 of July for 3 nights and what a beautiful place good entrance and immaculate pitches and facilities second to none ,Wi-Fi brilliant the dog walk big enough good walk for dogs from the site.Tywyn and Aberdovey close enough and good beach walks.Can highly recommend

What an amazing site we stayed 2 nights weather not the best but with the owners information book we visited a lovely waterfall with lovely dog walks owner was amazing lending us free sat box for TV 5 stars for this little gem

In my experience there is a definite consistency of standards between main club sites. Although the locations and layouts differ the facilities offered and standard of maintenance are always very high. Not so though with CL sites. Gale and her husband were very welcoming. We felt very safe on the site re Covid-19 as everywhere was spotless especially the shower room and toilets (you could have eaten your dinner off the shower room floor😀).
