Why stay here ...

John and Rose welcome you to Pen-yr-Orsedd on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsular.

The CL is situated on cycle route 43 and just of the coastal path (95 miles of breath-taking scenery). Half a mile from the CL is Porth Widlin and Porth Ty-mawr, an area of outstanding natural beauty with small coves, caves an even a shipwreck to explore. This is the ideal spot to watch the sun set over the sea.

There are many beaches within close proximity to the CL, the closest of which is Porth Oer -Whistling Sands, a beautiful sandy beach with a beach side café. Aberdaron is close at hand with a variety of shops and eateries.

Rose and John are more than happy to supply information on walks and cycle routes, and a map of the area is available to use in the toilet and shower block.

Beautiful spot - a real gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay despite some dreadful weather on arrival! The area is outstandingly beautiful with lovely views from this well run site. Pitches were large and well spaced, the facilities (2 loos, 1 shower) were clean and regularly serviced. We particularly liked the red light... Show more

Gem of a site in ideal location

Wonderful site. Another case as below of booking for two nights but staying for five. Would have stayed longer if it hadn’t been the end of our two weeks. This was a trip in my campervan as opposed to my Eriba but would have been equally happy in either unit.... Show more

Peaceful, beautiful site in ideal location

Fabulous location with a warm welcome from John and Rosemary. This site is ideal for cycling on quiet country lanes, catching the coastal bus to Pwelli or Aberdaron and watching the sun go down a short stroll from the site. Booked for 3 nights but stayed for 5 as we... Show more

Excellent site for a memorable stay

Absolute little gem of a place. If you like a warm welcome on arrival, clean and spacious area to pitch, peace and quiet, cycling, walking, free range eggs, closeness to beautiful coastline/beaches and watching the antics of farm animals, then this is definitely the place to stay. Lovely little site

This was my first time in a certified location (rather than a bigger Club Site) and I loved it. The site was very quiet and well kept and the owners very welcoming. Lots to do in the area too - some nice beaches and good birdwatching spots not... Show more

Tidy site with friendly and welcoming owners. Close to some of the best beaches on the Llyn. Great cycling and walking from the site. Look forward to staying at this lovely site some time soon.

Lovely site

A very nice site, clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful owners. The grass is regularly cut and the clippings are collected which isn't always the case on some CLs, probably as the owners are members and know how much mess damp grass clippings can make in a caravan... Show more
