Why stay here ...
Situated in an area of tranquillity and outstanding beauty, and at the source of the River Cegidog, this CL is sited only 1.5 miles from the Offas's Dyke path. It has many excellent walking and mountain bike trails, both at hand, at the nearby Llandegla Forest mountain bike centre and the glorious Clwydian Hills. There are a number of fishing lakes close by, a horse riding centre only a few minutes' walk and the Fauxdegla international shooting centre a ten minute drive. White water rafting, canoeing and paddleboarding are all available nearby.
The site is secured with electronically coded gates, measures 1.5 acres and is quite level. It is kept well mown and all pitches are of hard-standing. There is an information centre and a separate, adjacent dog-walking field. Every pitch is fully serviced with metered 16A electrical hook-up, mains water tap and grey water disposal. There is also a drive-over grey water disposal point for motorhomes and a chemical toilet disposal point. Only green toilet fluid is permitted (available to purchase on site). The site has inclusive Wi-Fi.
Owner's are active caravanners and Club members.
Within 10 miles of market towns of Mold, Ruthin, Llangollen, home of the International Eisteddfod festival and Heritage Steam Railway, Wrexham for extensive shopping, restaurants and cinema, and the National Trust's Erddig stately home.
