Talybont Certificated Locations

Talybont is located between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth in Ceredigion, in an unspoilt area of Welsh countryside.

The village makes a superb base for touring the area. Aberystwyth offers a traditional seaside resort and Borth has its own great beach, while there are some fine local walks like the route to Bont Goch.

Alternatively, take a ride on the Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway to see the Devil's Falls and the bridge over it. The waterfalls are spectacular and the stone bridge more so, but few things are more compelling than the water-eroded Devil's Punchbowl.

Machynlleth is also well worth seeing, not least for those interested in renewable energy, as it houses the Centre for Alternative Technology.
