Cae Hir Gardens
Originally three fields of rough farmland, now one of Britain's most highly acclaimed private gardens.
View and BookLlainfran CL Site is set in a quiet picturesque rural area of Wales, within a mile of Cwmtydu Cove and three miles from the small seaside town of New Quay, made famous by Dylan Thomas, with its stone quay, sandy beaches, cafes and restaurants. Dolphin spotting is a popular pastime.
All pitches have complimentary fast WiFi and good TV reception to ensure trouble free internet access and home working for those that need it.
This rugged heritage coastline has some spectacular cliffs, hidden coves, wooded valleys, waterfalls and dramatic headlands jutting out into Cardigan Bay. The Wales Coast Path is in walking distance of Llainfran providing good access to this fascinating coastline. The historic coastal towns of Aberaeron and Cardigan are a short drive away, and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is within half an hour away. In the autumn months Atlantic seals and their pups can often be seen at Cwmtydu Cove and from the coastal cliffs.
Access is an easy sweep into our 1.75 acre spacious lawned site which gently slopes towards the sea, with beautiful views across Cardigan Bay. There are views of the Llyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island on a clear day and spectacular sunsets appear throughout summer months. All of our spacious grass pitches have electric hook-ups and ample space for awnings and cars. There is also an enclosed dog walk area, where your dog may safely run off the lead.
Our toilet and shower facilities were upgraded in 2020 and include a laundry and wash-up area.
Please note, we require all visitors to use organic green toilet fluid and rinse.
Sorry but we are currently unable to cater for electric car charging.
We are able to advise you on local walks, places to visit and local amenities.
We take waste recycling seriously and provide our own waste recycling room to help guests minimise general waste.
Llainfran still retains some 16 acres of farmland, and the lower fields are grazed by sheep, two donkeys and our alpacas. We have tranquil farmland walks and a wildlife pond supporting many birds and wildlife which you are welcome to visit.
We have two 5* graded holiday cottages and two 4* graded cottages on site and in the next village sleeping between 2 and 6 people. Llainfran House provides boutique guest rooms serving healthy meat free breakfasts.
Please note that due to our grass pitches we can only take motorhome and campervan bookings between mid-May and mid-September. Provision outside these dates at short notice is weather dependent - please enquire. Please note, the maximum motorhome length we can accommodate is 6.0 metres. Please check with us when booking.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing holiday, on a CL site with great coastal views, easy access and spacious pitches, then look no further. We look forward to meeting you.

Excellent site. very well kept, Loads of space between units.
