Loved my stay here

What a lovely place, no fuss at all to just arrive and leave when I liked. Excellent walking from the site and such a lovely view. Very peaceful and really well kept site without being too cultivated. I will definitely be back

Lovely CL

I last stayed here as a boy scout in 1966 and its exactly as I remember it. I had a nice chat with the owner, Janet, whose father, Mr Davies, was the farmer on my previous visit. It's a large, mostly flat field between the river and the Vale of... Show more

Beautiful CL Site

26/08/2024 We booked a 7 Night stay to explore on foot and bike the vast array of trails on offer, to which the area did not disappoint. Very quiet on site throughout our stay and so we had a lovely peaceful stay overall. Facilities; Water, black... Show more

Exactly what a CL site should be….

What a lovely site.. firstly, please follow the directions and approach only from the A44 … we have an Avtex specific sat nav ( usually great ) & it was hopeless ! Without Janet & her sons help I think we would still be stranded … not pleasant .... Show more

Treasure of a location

Just back after 4 nights and it would have been longer if we did not have a fridge problem. Beautiful location with plenty of room for everyone to select their own area. New track up the incline to the slightly higher grass area which also has the bins/water and waste... Show more

Peaceful site in beautiful surroundings

The situation of this site, right next to the dam of the Rheidol reservoir, is sensational, but it manages to be peaceful too, and we had it to ourselves. The main disturbance is the chugging of the steam engine on the Vale of Rheidol railway climbing up the hillside,... Show more
