What a lovely place, no fuss at all to just arrive and leave when I liked. Excellent walking from the site and such a lovely view. Very peaceful and really well kept site without being too cultivated. I will definitely be back

A very peaceful CL with lots of room to find a quiet spot. Set in a steep-sided valley, there's several walks from the site, plus plenty of quiet lanes for cycling. There are no shops or pubs nearby so provision-up before you arrive. The phone signal (O2)... Show more

What a fab CL. First came here in summer 1990 and it was fab then. Lots to do in the area and now only about an hour for us from home. It will be our go to site. Will definitely return again and again. Good access, short grass and well... Show more

What a lovely site.. firstly, please follow the directions and approach only from the A44 … we have an Avtex specific sat nav ( usually great ) & it was hopeless ! Without Janet & her sons help I think we would still be stranded … not pleasant .... Show more

Just back after 4 nights and it would have been longer if we did not have a fridge problem. Beautiful location with plenty of room for everyone to select their own area. New track up the incline to the slightly higher grass area which also has the bins/water and waste... Show more

The situation of this site, right next to the dam of the Rheidol reservoir, is sensational, but it manages to be peaceful too, and we had it to ourselves. The main disturbance is the chugging of the steam engine on the Vale of Rheidol railway climbing up the hillside,... Show more

If you are looking for a peaceful time this the place with fantastic views at home with nature with red kites circling above,but remember there is no on site electricity.
