Welcome to Tyr-Wennol! Our CL site is located in the tranquil village of Rhyd-Rosser, just 2 miles from the coast road and village of Llanrhystud. The picturesque site is quiet and peaceful.
Local amenities in Llanrhystud include a good pub, restaurant, post office and shop. The local garage has a large supermarket and the road opposite the garage leads to the beach just 1/2 a mile away.
The Penrhos Park Country Club has facilities which include an indoor pool, gym and sauna plus a championship golf course with a floodlit driving range. Day visitors are very welcome to use all the facilities. The restaurant and bar is open every day, all year round with an extensive daily menu.
The charming Georgian port town of Aberaeron is just a short drive away and within 10 miles is Aberystwyth. An array of new shops, museum, pier, promenade, Devils Bridge railway and the famous clifftop funicular railway with stunning views make Aberystwyth well worth a visit.
New Quay is just 16 miles away, where you can take a boat trip to see the famous Cardigan bay dolphins or enjoy the lovely sandy beaches.
We also have a 2 bedroom self-contained cottage apartment available to book directly with the CL Owner should this be of added interest.
All in all we think our CL is a great base to explore the local area and a warm welcome awaits.

Very welcoming site
I arrived at this site 15th June for two nights. Maddy gave me a warm welcome and showed me the facilities. Brilliant showers and toilet. With a good chemicle waste. Very friendly other tourers. It was just lovely

Excellent CL
A very clean and well laid out CL. Tyr Wennol is excellent for visits to all places of interest in Mid Wales being only 9 miles from the town of Aberystwyth. The lovely seaside resorts of Aberearon and New Quay are easily reached from the site. Very friendly... Show more

Lovely quiet site
Lovely quiet site, with spottless facilities, and fully serviced ptiches. the only drawback, is the last one and a half miles to access the site, is single track lanes. and you have to keep everthing crossed, you don't meet any other traffic coming the other way.

Peace and quiet.
Just returned from a lovely long weekend at Tyr-Wennol. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. Owners couldn’t have been more welcoming. Lovely beach a few minutes away for the dog.

Brilliant Site

Spent two nights on this lovely peaceful site. The facilities are excellent, shower, loo and washbasin all immaculate. Keith very welcoming and helpful. First of all the owner, Keith, is marvellous. Very knowledgeable and full of recommendations for local places. Couldn't have been more helpful to a couple of newbies to camper-vanning.
