The site is easily accessible, situated 6 miles from M4 via A48 and B4306. The CL is 2 miles from the village of Pontyberem, 7 miles to Lllanelli and 9 miles to the market town of Carmarthen. For those who enjoy walking and cycling there are numerous routes to enjoy in the wonderful Carmarthenshire Countryside. The nearby village of Pontyberem has pubs, shops, take-aways and places to eat. There is also Swiss Valley Garden Centre, Botanical Garden of Wales, Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway, Paxton's Tower, Dryslwyn Castle, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park, Ffos Las Racecourse.
In the County town of Carmarthen, you can find a good range of shops and small markets. Carmarthen is said to be connected to Merlin and its Roman Heritage.
Cwrty Cledyn dates back from the early 1800's, it is situated next to a working dairy farm and overlooks the valley. Pontyberem was a mining village, the mine known as Pentremawr Colliery opened around 1870 and closed in 1989.

We Stayed for 5 days here very quiet site pitches do need levellers but it's hard standing so not an issue. Great sunsets in the evening and a nice view. Owners are genuinely lovely people and gave us a selection of pamphlets about the area and useful numbers of takeaway taxis etc... Show more

It's a bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the trip Very peaceful, superb views and very friendly and helpful owners. Electric is on a metre which suits us. Toilet block and water at entrance by the horses in the field. Would stay again.

Great CL with panoramic views and good facilities. Site is 10 minutes from the Sustran Swiss Valley Cycle path and run by 2 very friendly owners . Pitches are hard standing with pay as you go metered electricity. Leveling blocks are necessary on most of the pitches . Unfortunately our... Show more

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Quiet, peaceful and Anna and Trevor were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. Spectacular views across the Gwendreath valley, overlooking the village of Pontyberem. Would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.
