Benllech is situated on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales and it's a must-visit if you want a traditional British seaside holiday, particularly if you're taking children.
The small town is right on the coast and leads down to a vast expanse of yellow sandy beach, which has been the recipient of a European Blue Flag award since 2004. It's perfect for rockpooling, paddling, swimming and, if you want something a little more adventurous, kayaking or windsurfing.
Both the Anglesey Coastal Path and Wales Coastal Path pass through Benllech, making it the ideal place for a stroll at any time of day. You can also walk all the way along the beach to a great bar and bistro.
Within the town, there's a beach shop, cafe, chippy and ice cream sellers, as well as a variety of shops to supply anything you need during your stay. You'll also find numerous camping and caravan sites to accommodate you.
This is sure to be a place you return to for memorable family holidays, year after year.
