Why stay here ...

Maen Y Bugail is a CL site situated in the rural community of Llaneilian in the north east of the beautiful isle of Anglesey. It is ideally situated for the small cove beach at Llaneilian and within walking distance (10 minutes) of the spectacular sights of the copper mountain (Mynydd Parys). It is also ideally suited for several access points to the coastal path with its spectacular views around the coast.

Nearest town and port is Amlwch (only 5 minutes away) with Copper Kingdom Museum, pubs and cafes all within walking distance. The site can also be your base to explore the island of Anglesey with its rich culture and history. There are several ancient monuments dotted around the island and the beaches of Anglesey are renowed for their clean waters and sandy beaches.

A great little spot in the country side with peace and tranquility

I initially went past the place when trying to find it. It is located at the bottom of the road it's on, by the junction. I went for a brisk walk to the sea, which is a mile and a half away, where there is a lighthouse. In the evening we... Show more

Lovely location.

We booked on spec not really knowing the area. The site is very well manicured and very easy access without using narrow country lanes. Lovely scenery with a secluded coe around 15 minute walk or very dhort drive with free parking. Plenty to see and highly recommend.

A kind welcome from the owner. We had the elevated pitch so lots of lovely views. Well set up, clean and tidy. 3 double hook-ups allow for four units along the hedge and another on the elevated pitch, for which the owner provides an extension lead. Local facilities nearby and... Show more

We spent a night here and had no disturbance. Emelyn greeted us just after we had settled in. He showed us facilities and provided us with local information. The site was very neat and has a raised pitch with a great view of the surrounding countryside. The nearest pub &... Show more
