The Western Isles is a chain of interconnected islands off the north-west coast of Scotland, comprising of Lewis, St Kilda, Harris, North Ulst, Benbecula, South Ulst and Barra. You might also know them as the Outer Hebrides or Na h-Eileanan Siar in Gaelic.
