View and BookStarney Bay CL is situated at Northfield Farm on the edge of the picturesque fishing village of St Abb's. Hardstanding fully serviced super pitches are available, with easy access off the road. Located close to the the St Abbs Head Nature Reserve it is an ideal location for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts. The all ability footpath leads to the view point overlooking Starney Bay and the cliffs adorned with kittiwakes and guillemots. The footpath continues on with steeper terrain to the Nature Reserve with stunning views up the rugged East coastline. The Reserve is famous for it's high cliffs and sea bird colonies, gannets can be seen near the Lighthouse.
Starney Bay CL site is part of a working livestock farm run by the site owners Ali Gordon and David Turnbull. Families and dogs are welcome with plenty of walking trails nearby. There is a coffee shop and gallery situated at the farm.
The site has a chemical disposal waste point and recycling facilities. Each pitch has its own individual hook up with light, grey water disposal point and mains water tap.
The village of St Abbs has two coffee shops, a Post Office and general store also a Visitor's Centre. There is also boat charters available for diving and sightseeing. A stroll along the cliff top towards Coldingham Bay with it's sandy beach also has surf hire available.
It is an excellent location for cyclists to explore with many trails in the surrounding area.
Coldingham is 1mile drive where you will find several pubs and bars,a food store, butchers and Post Office. Trout fishing is available here too.
Eyemouth is 4.5 mile drive where you will find more shops and a bank, there is also an 18 hole golf course.
The historical town of Berwick upon Tweed is 14 miles away and would be the nearest train station.
