Our second visit to this lovely little CL, about 25 mins drive from Pitlochry. Recycling bins all clearly marked, peaceful, quiet, clean and tidy - what more could you want from a CL? We didn't get to see any red squirrels this time but we loved being so close to... Show more

The Red squirels entertainment will keep you amused generally early evening for about an hour each day. The site was kept lovely and we had a fantastic time exploring the area. Lots of lovely walks and the wild raspberries were another treat.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is definitely the place to be. Back to basics with minimal amenities in the middle of nowhere, was just what we were looking for and we weren’t disappointed. A proper little gem of a campsite and we so can’t wait to... Show more

Nothing to say over and above the other fantastic reviews except, if its peace and quiet with access to good sensible walks then its a must. Quite a treck off the A9 if you are just wanting a overnight stopover but perfect for a couple of days.

A real back to basics CL. The way it should be with simply water, waste disposal, and bins. A beautiful location with endless opportunities for walks, its on the Cateran Trail. Loved it here and will definitely be back.

Ok so don't over expect on the facilities for this site, which are basic but adequate. But do be aware of the fantastic wildlife you can see and hear whilst staying! We stayed just one night and went for a walk in the nearby forest, we saw red squirrels and... Show more

Basic CLs without hookup are becoming rare. They are the easiest to get a stance at short notice now that the whole country seems to have taken up camping. The site was not as dark as we had expected, in fact we were in full sun for most of the... Show more
