We first visited this site in 2014 when under different ownership. 4 of the pitches are at the front of the site where there is some road noise (surprisingly quite a busy road) and these pitches are in about ¼ acre, all hard standing. Whilst not essential, a motor mover helps positioning as it is a little tight. The 5th pitch is round the back (which is the one we had in 2014) and is much quieter with easier access. There is water to each pitch, and grey waste straight into hedge making them super pitches. The owners are friendly, and we were allowed to harvest the apples 🍎 of which there were plenty. We were also given some tomatoes from their greenhouse which were delicious. Enjoyed a lovely meal at The Pub in Errol, only downside- Cash only, which we weren’t informed about when we booked almost causing a very embarrassing situation. Quite a lot to do and visit in the area

We stayed in one of the back sites. Quiet and peaceful. Very friendly owners, gradually improving the site. Enjoyed watching the pheasants and rabbits over the land behind. Midway between Perth and Dundee. Would certainly stay again.

We stayed for two nights at this site. It is a quiet and peaceful site which is easily reached from the main Perth to Dundee Road. There are plenty of dog walks from the site and it is only a short walk into Errol for local shops , a pub and a fabulous cafe , The Lass O Gowrie. The owners live next to the site and are very friendly . We shall definitely be back.

We booked this site based on last years reviews unbeknown to us the site now has a new owner. This site is very small and with a caravan very tight to get onto a pitch. The grass was long when we arrived and wasn’t cut all week. The view we had was of the owners bungalow and from the back a view of the road which was busy most of the day and our caravan shook every time a lorry went past which was quite often. Now the worse thing we had to encounter was the Elsan emptying point. It is at the far end of the owners bungalow and garage. The first gate is very difficult to open and the second one is falling off its hinges. I had to lift the toilet cassette chest hight to empty it into a tank with a makeshift flap on the hole, then the water to wash out with it near a pile of grass clippings with rats running over it. That’s not to mention the weeds, old planks of wood and broken slabs that my wife nearly fell over. Would we return ? No.... Comment from the CL Owner Thanks for your feedback. As I am sure you can appreciate, the size of the site, and the Elsan point is what we inherited. We will certainly be improving the area around the Elsan point, and the gates mentioned have now been removed, and the ground levelled, and is now gravel around the toilet waste point. In terms of the lorries, the week you were here they were moving grain out of the grain store, which is unusual at this time of year, and completely out of our control. So I am sorry that it coincided with your visit. It's normally much quieter round here. We always try to improve the site based on feedback. Such as widening all the pitches, which is now complete.

A pleasant little CL situated at the entrance of a grain storage facility so quite a few HGV movements during the day. The pitches were quite narrow Thought £20 a bit expensive seeing no toilets or showers. However, had a very pleasant few days.

We stayed 2 nights, we have a 9m motorhome, and parked up, no problem, some nice walks, but no access anywhere locally to the river. Will we go back ? YES. The hosts are great, water on the pitch, and pour your grey water onto the bushes, separate tank for toilet cassette. Perfect.

A neat little site. Not particularly big hard standing pitches but your own water point. Beautifully mown grass. Ducks with ducklings and chicken in the adjoining garden, a novelty! A mown secure field next door where we could let our dog have a run off lead - brilliant. There is noise from the many heavy lorries that hurtle by all day, but then we were out and about during the day and it was quiet at night so it wasn't a problem. If like most of us you like mooching in a caravan showroom, Perthshire Caravans is seriously HUGE!! Access to Perth and the surrounding area is easy.
