Why stay here ...

Ardmoy CL is situated in the grounds of the former factors house of Mansfield estates just off the A94, Perth to Scone road. The site is all grass and gently slopes down to the boundary fence (levelling blocks are recommended). It is predominantly North/West facing with lovely views out to the Grampian mountains. The site has a mains water stand point, chemical and grey waste water disposal points and we also have recycling and waste bins. We don't have electric mains hook ups but, we allow silent generators (within curfew of 8am to 10pm) and we can help with battery charging if required in our workshop. Perthshire Caravans have an excellent accessory shop and it is only a 15-minute drive away if you need any spares or shopping therapy! 

Whilst very close to Perth city centre we are in a rural/farming location with the associated activities, wildlife, smells and noises of the countryside. On occasion you will no doubt hear Rocky our Maran cockrel, ruler of our roost of chickens over the wall in the garden next to the CL - his time clock is very unstable and he likes to crow at strange times!

We are open all year round but reserve the right to cancel bookings if weather makes the site unsafe or vulnerable to damage but we do have a 4wd tractor if anyone struggles to get moving. If in doubt please contact us on site before you even attempt to move and we will happily help you.

Scone village is a short walk (400 yards) along the road and has 2 gastro pubs (the 'Scone Arms' and 'Brown and Blacks'), an Italian ('La Sicilyana') and a Chinese/chip shop takeaway (Scone chippy), these are all on the main road through the village. There is a Co-op, Tesco and Spar plus other shops. There is also a petrol station at Tesco's.

Perth city centre is approx 1.5miles away as well as many shops, pubs and restaurants, the visitor attractions include Museums, Art Galleries, Balhousie Castle, Perth Concert Hall, Perth Theatre, the North and South Inches (these are large parks beside the river Tay at either side of the city) and Branklyn Gardens.

For children there is a soft play centre, swimming pool and Air Thrill Perth. For golfers there is a choice of no less than 5 courses within 6 miles of Ardmoy CL. Around the Scone area there is the famous Scone Palace, Scone Racecourse and Perth Airport. For walkers and cyclists, we have Quarrymill woodland park, Deuchny Woods, Kinnoull Hill, Coronation Road and Scone Den.

On the main road (at the CL entrance) there are cycle lanes both sides and a pavement on one side to Perth/Scone. There are bus stops each side of the road only 25 yards from the CL entrance with buses to Perth or Scone. During the day these are every 30 minutes or less at peak times extending to hourly in the evening and we strongly recommend downloading the stagecoach bus app for timetables and live tracking of passing buses.
